Up for auction is the 2002-03 King Ghidorah Dash Charge Battler figure from Konami. He's all complete (manual and everything) and in his original packaging--though please note it HAS been opened on one occasion, so the original clear tape that held it closed has been sliced. Also, the plastic on the packaging shows a bit of shelf scuff. Konami's Dash Charge Battle system was a clever little idea: Make motorized Godzilla figures and then send them bashing into one another on a little playset lined with plastic skyscrapers. Brilliant! Fun for all ages! I've heard it could also form the basis of a particularly fast-paced drinking game for daikaiju fans. It's like betting on boxing matches, except each fight only lasts a few seconds. But again, this is only hearsay. One note: the packaging for this figure was a bit odd in that it shipped with the wings detached ( as seen on Club Tokyo: http://www.clubtokyo.org/site/showVariation?entryId=1190&filter=). The lead picture on this auction shows the figure with wings attached just to avoid concern that there are missing pieces, but the figure doesn't fit properly into the package that way so I'll detach them again for shipping. They're safer that way, even though the wings will likely jostle loose during transit. If you want the full Dash Charge experience (and who wouldn't?) I also have a Godzilla 2002 and a Dash Charge battlefield (complete with plastic skyscrapers) up for auction as well. And I would LOVE to combine shipping for you. (Seriously, I would.
