Up for bid is TRhe Return of Zorro comic book issue #425 by Dell Color Comics in 1952. I am not a professional grader but I will do my best to describe. 1) The Return of Zorro 1) SPINE a) relatively flat cover with very mild spine rolling, b) both staples tight with no tears c) minor - moderate number stress marks on spline, corners mildly blunted. 2) FRONT COVER a) bright colors with minor color reflectivity loss with little to no foxing b) 1/8" triangle bend with color break at bottom right corner c) top right corner square d) 2 creases with color breaks; 2-1/2" lg diagonally at center of cover, 3" horizontal crease at lower right starting at right edge. e) inside front cover: off white with light tanning along bottom edge, moderate foxing 3) REAR COVER a) bright colors b) soiling / handling wear along open side margin; some light pink staining scattered over rear cover c) inside rear - mostly white with yellowing along spine, ink still dark 4) INSIDE PAGES a) pages cream - tan in color b) minor foxing/dimpling/edge wear c) minor - moderate color fading d) staining along edges of several pages e) centerfold tight at both staples - no tears I would conservatively grade this comic book to be 5.5 FN/- I am selling off my collection because my kids and grandkids have no interest.
