Tentacle, kaiju, and anime lovers rejoice! Irys is here and he wants to be your friend! Fresh from his star-making appearance in the 1999 Japanese kaiju epic, Gamera 3: Awakening of Irys comes Irys, the titular antagonist, sculpted in impressive detail. The figure is display-ready and in wonderful condition. While he's built on a 6" scale like Bandai's Movie Monster series, he's a much better sculpt than either Bandai Irys. Plus, his tentacles are truly majestic. It's tough to describe how long and sinewy they are in real life. But I've shifted my personal collection to be more Bandai-focused, so I'm hoping someone will give this fine fellow a new home. Irys originally shipped on a bubble card and required its tentacles to be attached by the user. But this one has obviously already been assembled and its bubble-card package was discarded by a previous owner. If Irys isn't your flavor, please consider checking out my other auctions.
